current projects reflect the broad range of clients for
whom we provide professional services.
New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), NY
NYCHA, the nation’s largest public housing agency, awarded a contract to DTA to provide Construction Management services throughout the City’s five borough area. The $25 million CM/Build contract encompasses such types of projects as building exteriors, building systems, site improvements and underground utilities, the renovation of community centers, police service areas and residential developments as well as various miscellaneous projects deemed necessary by NYCHA.
Dormitory Authority of the State of NY (DASNY)
DASNY awarded a Term Contract to DTA to perform Construction Management Services on various projects under $5 million. The services to be provided will cover pre-construction and construction phase services, administration and general conditions contracts, and be responsive to various DASNY clients, such as: City University of New York, State University of New York, Health and Hospital Corporation, Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, NYS Office of Mental Health and the Office of Court Administration.
Verizon Communications, Inc.
Verizon, a Dow 30 company and leader in broadband and wireless communications, has awarded a nationwide contract to DTA to provide Owners Representative Services. Through Verizon Services Corp., the sourcing entity, DTA will perform project management oversight on various real estate projects to support Verizon Wireless, Verizon Business and Verizon Telecom.
DTA has been awarded an indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract by the GSA to provide Construction Management Services for the following projects:
Romano L. Mazzoli Federal Building, Louisville, KY
A complete weatherization refurbishment of the facility will involve a complete roof replacement. The work consists of the removal of the existing roof system down to the structural concrete deck and the installation of a new gravel surfaced built-up roof over tapered insulation. The project value is $1.2M.
John A Campbell U.S. Federal Building & Courthouse, Mobile, AL
The repair and alteration program for the facility consists of a complete replacement of the fire alarm system and new boiler and controls replacement, as well as HAZMAT abatement in various areas. The building is scheduled to remain occupied and functional during the repair and alternation program. The estimated construction value is $1.7M.
U.S. Courthouse and Federal Building, Greenville, MI
The Design-Build contract calls for the repair and renovation of 132 damaged but operable windows and the installation of new storm windows for all existing window systems; and replacement and installation of new mechanical and life-safety systems. In addition to DTA’s Construction Management services, DTA will evaluate and prepare Value Engineering and Cost Estimating Services. Estimated construction value is $1.9M
U.S. Courthouse, Jefferson City, MO
GSA has awarded DTA a Construction Management contract for the construction of a new courthouse in Jefferson City, MO. In keeping with GSA’s commitment to sustainable design and energy efficiency in all of its building projects, the goal of this project is the awarding of a LEED Silver rating. Design-phase services are scheduled to begin in January with construction scheduled to begin in 2009, and substantial completion in April, 2011. Estimated Construction value: $47.8M
Sky Harbor Airport, Phoenix, AZ
DTA has been placed on a Qualified Vendor’s list of approved firms for award of work on the planned multi-billion dollar program which will involve a major new terminal, light rail link, people mover and other related projects. The program will be accomplished over the next ten years, and will involve work for many firms over that time span. URS, the Prime Leadership firm will make selections from this list as services are required on an as-needed basis.
Cal-Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, CA
DTA has been placed on a Qualified Vendor’s list of approved firms for award of a Prime Cost Estimating contract for the university. The University will select from the list as cost estimating services are required on an as-needed basis. Project value is yet to be determined.
Kaiser Replacement Housing, San Francisco, CA
DTA is providing Construction Management Services to the Tabernacle Community Development Corporation for the construction of affordable housing in San Francisco. The three-floor 11,748 s.f. residential complex will consist of 21 units of studios; one and two bedroom units. Construction value is $5.5M
West Contra Costa Unified School District, Richmond, CA
DTA is currently providing CM services for WCCUSD’s School Bond Measures D and J. The program calls for the modernization and new construction of K-12 schools throughout the District.
State of Nevada – Extended Project Management
DTA placed among the top 7 firms to be included in the roster to provide work from the State of Nevada. Project locations include Reno, Sparks, Las Vegas and North Las Vegas. Project will include laboratories, training and research facilities, office buildings, and medical education learning facilities. Project assignments are yet to be determined.
Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E): DTA is providing project and construction management services including cost estimating on various projects throughout Northern California including San Jose, Stockton, Colusa, Vacaville, Chico, Lodi, Eureka, and Redding. Project cost: $Various.
Devany Square Park, Dublin, CA
DTA is providing Construction Management services to the City of Dublin. Construction of a 2-acre park has the following features: arbors, playgrounds, water play area, rose garden, picnic tables, abundance of trees, and a small performance area and amphitheater. Project Cost: $1M
Woodbridge Winery Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase I
DTA is providing Scheduling and Cost Estimating services. Woodbridge Winery is owned by Constellation Wines U.S. Project cost is $40M.
